Federal officials this week issued a rare directive to federal agencies whose log-ins might have been compromised to change those log-ins.
The U.S. government said Thursday that Russian government hackers who recently stole Microsoft corporate emails had obtained passwords and other secret material that might allow them to breach multiple U.S. agencies.
U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) said “Other organizations may also have been impacted by the exfiltration of Microsoft corporate email”.
